  Roles of URCA

The Applied Clinical Research Unit (URCA) is a service unit of the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center. A number of services are provided in connection with the various steps involved in a research project.

The URCA’s mission is to:

  • Bring clinical investigators together and foster dialogue between them and epidemiologists;
  • Set up infrastructure appropriate to the development and execution of major multicenter trials;
  • Provide clinical research services to promote the careers of the Center’s young clinical investigators and the CHU Sainte-Justine research community.

The URCA’s services are offered in priority to member researchers, but are also offered to the CHU Sainte-Justine scientific community at large based on the staff availability.

Please feel free to contact us at 514-345-4931, ext. 3332, or urca@recherche-ste-justine.qc.ca should you require our services or have any questions or comments.
