TitlePediatric surgeon with a 2-year specialization in Fetal Surgery (clinical and research) Research InterestsHer research interests focus on in utero gene therapy, more specifically on immunological responses after presentation of viral vectors during the pre-immune period. Can a state of tolerance be introduced to these vectors that allow post-natal readministration? Dr Bouchard is also interested in the correction of metabolic diseases in transgenic mice through the antenatal administration of viral vectors. Other research areas on fetal surgery from a technical point of view are also to be developed on larger animal models.
